About Us

Inspiration Behind Journey for H.O.P.E

Mary C Lawson Corrigan, CSA (Certified Senior Advisor) is the founder of Journey for H.O.P.E. (Helping Older Parents Evolve). With a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University and advanced certifications in dementia care and senior coaching, Mary C brings both personal experience and professional expertise to the families she serves. After navigating the challenges of supporting aging family members through complex medical, legal, and emotional transitions, Mary C was inspired to create a service that empowers adult children to care for their aging parents with confidence, grace, and dignity.

Journey for H.O.P.E. was born out of personal experiences with the emotional and logistical challenges of caring for aging loved ones. Mary C saw a need for personalized guidance to bridge the gaps between healthcare, legal, emotional, and family dynamics — especially for families overwhelmed by the pressures of the “Sandwich Generation.”
